Hypnotherapy
Reconnecting with your Inner Strengths
Sometimes, the things we need most to heal aren’t easily reached through words alone. You may have tried talking through your challenges, yet certain patterns persist—deep-seated anxieties, recurring fears, or emotional responses that seem to arise automatically, before you can even name them. This is where hypnotherapy can offer something different.
Hypnosis is not about losing control or being “put under” in the way you might see in films. Rather, it is a gentle, collaborative process in which I guide you into a deeply relaxed, focused state of awareness. In this space, your conscious mind softens its grip, allowing access to parts of yourself that are often out of reach during ordinary conversation. Here, we can work with emotions, memories, and physical sensations that your body holds but that you may not yet have been able to express in words, in order to heal and reconnect to your inner strengths and resilience.
Why Hypnotherapy?
Many of us carry experiences that shape how we respond to stress, intimacy, and relationships. These imprints live not just in our stories, but in our nervous systems. Talking therapy is invaluable, yet it sometimes meets its limits when the body remembers what the mind has not fully processed.
What I find most meaningful about hypnosis is how it helps people re-access their own inner strengths. Often, when we are struggling, we feel as though we have lost touch with our resilience, our capacity for calm, or our ability to trust ourselves again. Hypnotherapy creates a safe space to remember what is already there within you.
Hypnotherapy allows us to:
- Gently access deeper layers of feeling and meaning that words alone may not capture
- Work with anxiety, grief, or loss in a way that feels safe and contained
- Release physical tension that accompanies emotional pain
- Reconnect with your inner resources and sense of grounding
- Rediscover strengths that may have been overshadowed by difficult experiences
How it fits into our work together
My approach remains systemic and holistic, and talking therapy remains an important anchor in my work. Hypnotherapy is not a separate technique but woven into the fabric of our sessions alongside emotion-focused therapy, mindfulness and grounding techniques, and the relational space we create together. I draw on this modality when I sense that something beneath the surface is important to be acknowledged and held—with care.
For clients who have moved countries, navigated intercultural relationships, or experienced separation and loss, hypnotherapy can be particularly helpful. It offers a way to work with the disorientation and grief that often accompany major life transitions, and to rebuild a sense of belonging within yourself. Most importantly, it supports you in remembering that you already possess the strength to navigate these challenges—you may simply need help accessing it again.
What to Expect
There is no one-size-fits-all experience of hypnotherapy. Some people find it deeply calming; others discover surprising insights emerge. You remain in control throughout, and decide what feels good and helpful and what does not. We move at a pace that feels right for you, and I am attentive to your comfort and readiness at all time.
Like with all aspects of my practice, I bring my humanity into the room, trusting that healing happens in safe relationships, not in isolation. My role is to walk alongside you gently, supporting you as you reconnect with your own deeper needs and the strengths that have always been there.
If you are curious whether hypnotherapy might support your process, I welcome the opportunity to explore this with you. Sometimes the deepest shifts begin when we allow ourselves to rest, listen, and trust what emerges from within.
