I am a counselling psychologist, currently practicing in Berlin.
Before moving to Berlin over a year ago, I worked with an employee assistance program in India, where I supported clients in managing and coping with stress related to work and relationships. My prior experience includes private practice (with adults and children), counselling charities, primary schools and a trauma-counselling centre. I have had the privilege of working with clients from diverse socio-cultural and ethnic backgrounds. These varied experiences inform my practice as a counsellor.

I have a BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) accredited Masters in Counselling Psychology from Keele University (UK) and Masters in Applied Psychology from Delhi University (India). I am a member of the German Association of Professional Psychologists (BDP). I am fluent in English and Hindi, and also offer individual sessions online via Skype.
In my practice, I use an integrative approach, drawing primarily from the person-centred approach, and often include elements of mindfulness, solution-focused therapy, expressive art and cognitive behavioural therapy. Working collaboratively with my clients, I strive to provide them with a safe space to explore barriers to personal growth, and the tools to achieve their goals. I support clients with challenges related to depression, anxiety, self-esteem, adjustment, work-life balance, body image, relationships, trauma, bereavement and coping with life transitions.
